Coconut

This is from Joey's 3rd grade teacher:

So today I told the kids that tomorrow I want to make a list of  their fruits that they ate for the day so that we could see how many different fruits we were eating.  Joey said, "I'm going to bring a coconut!"  Love that kid! :-)

Green Giant Veggie Snack Chips

Green Giant isn't all about canned or frozen vegetables - now they even make a snack chip... and it's really good!!

It comes in either Multigrain Sweet Potato Chips in Sea Salt OR Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chips in Zesty Cheddar.

I had both kids try each of these and they liked both kinds. I have kids that are particular about what kind of snack chips they like, and thought maybe they would be hesitant to try the veggie chips, but they gobbled up a few snack bags of the chips happily.

Meanwhile, my husband, who also was skeptical, tried the Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chips in Zesty Cheddar. I was waiting for his response, and he also agreed that these are very good.

They have a nice crisp, and are surprisingly light. If you are looking for a new multigrain snack, try Green Giant's new Veggie Snack Chips!

I'm a bzzagent (www.bzzagent.com) and received these chips for free to try out and report to you what I thought about them! :)

Mother's Day

Today was a fabulous day. Justin woke me up about 9:30 and brought me a Mother's Day card that he made all by himself. I looked at Joe to see if he had prompted him to make it and he said, no, that Justin made the card for me all by himself. I guess Justin has been telling Joe that he has something he was getting me for Mother's Day and wouldn't even tell Joe - mostly because he finally knows how to keep a secret. The problem was Joe thought it was something he had to buy and he kept telling Justin, well you need to tell someone and he said, nope. This is the adorable card he made me all by himself. He knew how to spell all the words except from AND he colored this for me in the game room upstairs because he wanted it to be a secret.

After we woke up and got dressed we went out to Two Rows for Mother's Day brunch. The buffet was so good. Everyone, including the kids, found something they loved.

This was my Mother's Day brunch. I was not a fan of the mimosa. Ick.

Justin and I. I love my little man. He wanted to sit by me and rested up against me most of the brunch. He loves his mommy!!

Another with my sweetie!

Last night we took the boys to a FC Dallas game. I've never been and I was AMAZED at how good these soccer players were. It was amazing!!
This was when they won!! 3-2.

When we won!

My sweet boys! They are holding these horns that they blow at soccer games.

The people behind us were playing these huge bongo drums and waving flags. People at FC Dallas games are gung ho fans!!!!

View of the field. We were only 8 rows up. This was a shot from the upper stairs.

National Anthem

Love this!

My sweet boys outside the park! They are wearing their favorite shirts - Star Wars for Justin and Minecraft for Joey.

The game was awesome. We spent like $50 for food - it was ridiculous. We would have eaten before but Joey and Joe had baseball practice and came right from practice. It was a great time! We even ran into a few friends. I want to go back. It was really cool to watch.
