12/30–The finished Lego table and their lego creations

IMG_9344-1Here are photos of the finished Lego table. There are three pieces of plywood as the top, and then it’s wrapped tightly with felt, which has been sewn together, to be land and water. This table is a huge 6 feet long and four feet wide and about 4 feet tall. It’s huge! Joe reinforced the table all around with wood to make sure it was very sturdy.

We decided against using the lego tiles as the base of the table because 1. they are $15/piece, 2. some of the pieces wouldn’t far well on the tiles. If they want the lego tiles, they can get some and use it to mount their city buildings or people by just putting them on the table.
