Joe and I were getting ready to go to the library. I had just gotten everything out of the house. Joe was buckling the kids into the car. We had a fun day planned. We were going to the library and then to the Frisco Rough Rider stadium for an Easter Egg hunt.

I asked Joe if he had everything and he said, 'Yes'. I locked the door, walked out two steps and he looked at me WIDE EYED, and asked, 'Did you get the keys?' Panic set in.

I stammered, 'Um, no... did you?' At this point I'm praying he has the keys.

He says, "Um, no. Oh CRAP, what are we going to do????'

We never put a key outside, never had one in my purse, never gave one to the neighbor. Oh boy. We were LOCKED OUT.

Joe did manage to get in the house. Oh boy. We were lucky we didn't have our security alarm on like we always do!

So that was the third thing that happened today. I'm just glad we didn't have to call a locksmith.
