What type of personality are you?

I got this from Carolyn's blog!

You Have a Choleric Temperament

You are a person of great enthusiasm - easily excited by many things.
Unsatisfied by the ordinary, you are reaching for an epic, extraordinary life.
You want the best. The best life. The best love. The best reputation.

You posses a sharp and keen intellect. Your mind is your primary weapon.
Strong willed, nothing can keep you down. Your energy can break down any wall.
You're an instantly passionate person - and this passion gives you an intoxicating power over others.

At your worst, you are a narcissist. Full of yourself and even proud of your faults.
Stubborn and opinionated, you know what you think is right. End of discussion.
A bit of a misanthrope, you often see others as weak, ignorant, and inferior.

Day 6 Cabo Mexico

I totally love this photo. This is our cruise ship!

We took a trip charter boat fishing. It was super expensive and we didn't get a thing, except a little sea sick. We wouldn't do it again. We would do a city/countryside tour again next time I think. Here is a sea lion. I totally did not expect to see one!

Joe and I at the end of the charter fishing trip.

One of our formal portraits from the night before.

Our formal portrait from this night.

This was the group of great people we sat with for dinner each night. I'm so glad we did mixed seating. We LOVED meeting all these people - Joe, Clara, Trude and Jenna!

Me and my drink. It's all mine :)

Joe couldn't stand wearing a suit any longer. He changed but Jason stayed in his tux.

Everyone (but me) is doing a shot! Trude (left) and Caroline (black dress) did so many, they were so trashed. Trude said she didn't remember much that night! LOL.

Me, just hanging out!

There was a champagne party this night and here is after the streamers fell.

Joe and I. Aren't we cute?

Here go the streamers! It was a cool party. We danced and danced!!

Here's the gang, Caroline, Trude, me and Jenna!

A lot late but done...Mexico - Day 5 Mazatlan

It was amazing watching how he made the bricks.

If you go into this bakery, buy something. It's super inexpensive and they are soooo good.

Here is the tile maker. It's so neat how these are made. We bought one for a trivet for hot plates.

This man is making custom made furniture. It's so nicely detailed.

A magnificent church we stopped to see.

Joe and I in the countryside by a scenic overlook. So pretty!

Our lunch was EXCELLENT!! Yum!

There was another church here - a very old church. This was the gated path around it.

Here's my waiting for the cliff diver to get ready!

Here's the cliff diver's place that he dives off.

Here he goes! Scary!

Wow, he made it!!

The city. It was so pretty here.

One of the most beautiful churches I've ever seen.

Inside the church above. It was gorgeous!

Myself, Frank and my hubby. What a great tour!!!

On the way back to the ship, we all saw this SUNK boat! See it out there?

Back on the ship, enjoying a cold drink!

Caroline and I.

And another drink :)

It was our anniversary and they put balloons on our door!

A week by week pregnancy journal... Week 9

This week my back was starting to hurt. I wasn't sure if I was going to need to go back to the chiropractor but it seems to be getting better. Last pregnancy I had bad sciatic nerve back problems around 10 weeks that only the chiro was able to fix. This week I worked out both Monday and Tuesday. Today I went right to bed after Joe got home and ate and slept until about 9pm and will go back to bed shortly. I think I got a slight cold after Joey this week. I'm coughing a congested cough and that's the only symptoms I'm having as of today. I'm still able to fit into most of my pants from before. My pregnancy pants are still way too big. I wore them today to work and swore they were falling off multiple times. I saw the OB for my first appt on Tuesday and was able to see the baby on the ultrasound. I saw two arms, two feet, the body and head and I saw the heart beating and both sides of the brain. It was amazing! The baby was moving all around on the ultrasound moving it's arms and kicking it's legs. The writeup below is pretty accurate based on the ultrasound I had! It's amazing.

Here is some info from www.pregnancylounge.com about the week 9 development from the baby:

This week of pregnancy your baby is about an inch in length (crown-to-rump) and weighs about a gram. Your baby’s rapid growth is phenomenal! All the major internal organs, muscles and nerves are now in place and will continue to grow and develop throughout your pregnancy. Your baby’s eyes are fully formed and covered by a thin membrane, which are the eyelids. The eyelids are fused shut, but will eventually open later on in your baby’s development (between 24-27 weeks along). Your baby is now beginning to straighten its body and blood vessels can be seen through his or her skin, because of its transparency.

By now, your baby is very active, although you can't feel your baby moving around or kicking yet, since he or she is still so small. Your baby can respond to touch at this point and your baby would move and turn away from the source.

If you were not pregnant, you would be having your second period this week. Some women have a small amount of light spotting at this time. You may notice some changes to your body shape by this stage and you may have gained a small amount of weight, although if you are still suffering from morning sickness, you may have lost a little instead. Your body has started preparing itself for the extra demands placed on it during your pregnancy. Your heart is beating faster than normal and your blood volume is increasing. The largest increase in blood volume will occur during the second trimester by about 50% or more.

Occasionally, some women may feel dizzy or light-headed if they stand up quickly or for too long. This is fairly common during pregnancy and often caused by low blood pressure (hypotension). It can also be caused by high or low blood sugar levels. Make sure you don’t skip meals and that you are eating regularly. Also, when you stand up, do it slowly to avoid feeling faint.

Drumroll please....!!

Here is baby Fisher! My new due date is September 4th. I really do believe this one was a girl. I was not wrong with Joey so I guess we will see in a few months.

See the photo above? You can see the head, the body and the arms. The legs are there but he just didn't print the really good photo with the legs and the arms for me. The little circle next to the baby is called a egg sack. This is a science lesson for you. It supplies all the nutrients the baby needs before the placenta is fully developed the 11th week, which it will disappear at that time. Isn't it cool? I measured 9 weeks and 3 days on Tuesday. The baby is about an inch long.

Our new carpeting is in the the crib fiasco...

Whew...! Our carpeting is finally in. What a big project this was. We took almost everything downstairs and ripped everything in our closets out so all of our clothing and all was downstairs too.

So Saturday Jim came to install our carpet. Joe and I sat downstairs most of the morning watching our shows we taped on the dvr, and Joey was at my mothers. Finally about 2 or 3 pm all of the carpeting was in! Yay! I have some before and after photos below. We had some nasty wood flooring under the crappy carpet that the previous owner must have thrown down just to sell the house. The new carpeting is like spongy and all nice to walk on. I love it.

So anyhow, today is Sunday. Is snowed like crazy last night and the superbowl is in town. They have been wanting this 'winter wonderland' theme and I think they got it. We woke up to a foot of snow in the driveway. YUCK!! Not only did we wake up to that but we woke up to the power out too!! Now the power going out sucks anyhow but it's even worse when it's 31 degrees outside and it's getting colder INSIDE!! Just as we were getting ready to go out for lunch because we didn't want to cook without heat or electricity, the lights came out. We went out anyhow and just got Wendy's, but it was still good. I was so glad the heat and electricity was back on! yay!! I know the whole lower Michigan was out. I called my mother and she lives 30 minutes away and her power was out too. I hate big snow storms!

So anyhow, last night I wanted Joe to move Joey's crib to his new room so he can get used to sleeping in his old bed in a new place and then we were going to transition him to the toddler bed. Yeah, that didn't work. Joey's crib cracked in two places - the wheel cracked off it and a piece on it cracked, so we had no choice but to throw it out. Thank GOD I picked up a toddler bed about a year ago on freecycle. We had to pull it out. We weren't sure if Joey was ready for a new bed, especially since he's only just turned 2 but he's done well with it. The first night he got up about 4 times right at the beginning, but finally we told him, you need to go to bed and he did and slept all night. He took a nap in in today and did just fine and went to bed in it just fine tonight. My boy is growing up!!!

I know I haven't been blogging lately, actually I haven't really been online lately or using my camera but I did take some photos recently and I'm sharing them below.

Joey's new room (our old office) with no carpet.

The nursery (Joey's current room) without carpet.

The upstairs living room with no carpet. Yuck.

Joey's new room with carpet.

Our bedroom carpeting. Dark blue carpeting. I love it.

Joey's old room - new blue carpet.

Joey playing in his new room. The carpet makes the room look large!

Joey asleep the first night in his toddler bed.

Joey's first time asleep in his new bed!

Joey playing in his new room with his GeoTrax!

Joey and I found this fun game. There is a hole in this box and I would stick my finger in it from in back and he would try to get it. See, the cat was even interested!

Joey, you may have big feet for a 2 year old (size 8 1/2) but daddy's is much bigger (size 14).

We couldn't do anything like tv today with no electricity, so books were read this morning.

The new carpet in the living room. We are still cleaning up the stuff in the room. See the broken crib :(
