First off, this is my wonderful husband rocking Joey to sleep the other night. See his cute new Elmo blanket that Grandma Char (Joe's mom) made for Joey? Aren't those two so cute?Sorry, you can't have him - well my husband that is. He's the best husband ever, you know? Tonight I didn't feel well, was tired and just wanted to go to bed. He said, no problem and took care of Joey. Now after Joey went to bed tonight, I was hungry, but I'm craving fruit salad, or soup and we had neither so my loving husband went to the store to buy me those items, at 9:30 pm at night after he already put his PJ pants on. He's so dear to me. I don't know what I would do without him. I told him, 'What would I do without you?', he laughed and said, 'Well you wouldn't be pregnant, that's for sure!'. He's so silly.
Some funny things Joey is doing this week. He has for awhile been saying things are funny if they aren't 'right' or they really are funny. Today he was watching the Wiggles and he said, 'haha, Wiggles funny'. It's so amazing. I guess this past weekend when he was at Grandma's house Uncle Fred was using the bathroom and shut the door and Joey ran up to the door and started to pound on it and said, 'Are you peeing in there?!'. OMG how halarious! Then Joe's mom made him cow pajamas (they have photos of cows on them) and he was running around the house yelling, 'My cow, My cow!'. Today he was going up the stairs and one of the cats must have been in his way and he says, 'Move Ty-Ty, move!'. He was playing with one of his Bob the Builder toys, and it's the tractor and it has a hitch on the back. He wanted something to hook up to it so he ran upstairs, got one of his geotrax trains which have hitches on them and he connected it to the tractor. Now I was proud of his deductive reasoning about what other toy he had that he could hook up to the tractor. Then he went upstairs to get the rest of his trains to hook up to that one. It was so cute.
Other than that another funny thing happened. I have been watching Wiggles so much I know all the songs. Julie - I saw your comment about my love for fruit salad and when you commented, Fruit salad, yummy yummy - I actually SANG it in my head! So anyhow, I was telling Joe that the Wiggles aren't that bad, and at least one of the guys are good looking. He looked me straight in the eye and without a beat, said, 'Who, Anthony?'. How the hell did he know I thought Anthony was hot? So I was like, 'um, uh yeah, how the heck did you know?'. He said, 'We've been together almost 10 years now, I KNOW you'. Well, at least he knows which Wiggle I think is hot! haha.
Oh, and super bad thing happened on Monday when I was home. I left my camera on my scanner like I usually do and somehow it slipped off my desk and onto the floor. My lens busted right into two pieces! I was like, WTF?!! Then I tried to get the lens off the camera and it wouldn't come off!! I was saying to myself, what am I going to do? Oh what am I going to do? Finally I gave it a lot of pressure, praying to God that I wasn't to break the camera and the lens finally came off. It actually busted itself onto the camera and jammed. So anyhow, here is my camera lens. I'm really upset about it. It was my 50 mm fixed lens. Joe hates the lens but I loved it. It had a 1.4 aperature and made the BEST portrait photos! I guess I'll have to buy another lens. This one is only like $60 but it still upset me. At least the camera isn't foobarred!Joe just got back from the grocery store. Now remember I wanted soup, shredded wheat ceral and fruit salad? He bought me 21 cans of the Healthy choice soup. I guess it was on sale for $1.00/can when it's usually $2.50/can AND he found coupons so he got 21 cans for like $17.00. He's so funny. And he bought me 2 things of fruit salad AND my shredded wheat. What a sweetie!! He's so proud of himself that he got a great deal! :) LOL
Well that's all for now. Will share more later.

Man, I love blogging! Can anyone else stand up with me and say they love blogging too? It's addictive!!!!!Today Joe was a deary and let me sleep in. I got up about 9am. We did some errands today. We got rid of a desk that was in Joey's room and took that and a bunch of other stuff to the Salvation Army.
Before we loaded up the desk we took it apart. Joey found one large drawer and had to sit in it. He would not get out. He thought it was HIS drawer. I took these totally cute photos of him in the drawer. He amuses himself and us every day with his antics!
Then we went to the fruit market. That is the fruit market down the street from me that has the trains running overhead in the store. Joey just loves the place. He actually starts to squeal as we drive into the driveway of the store. We got some oranges, blueberries, grapes, bananas and a few other things. I always go to their deli and get a lb of fruit salad. It has different stuff in it each time, but today it had strawberries, blueberries, red grapes, cantelope, kiwi, musk melon, pineapple and I think that's it. Now a pound of fruit salad is $5.00. Sounds kinda pricey but when you go and buy all of the above individually, then you have a huge bill, especially in the middle of the WINTER and too much fruit to eat! So I just get a pound from the deli, Joey normally helps me eat it. It's funny. The last few times I have gotten it, Joey and I tanked the whole container in one day. Well today I tanked the entire container WITHOUT Joey. Sure I saved him some blueberries but I just ate a pound of fruit! hahaha, could be worse - could be a pound of lard or something! :)So we tried so hard to get Joey to take a nap today. He would have none of it. He stayed in his bed for a 1/2 hour and still wasn't tired. I'm worried he's growing out of his naps!!!! I need him to take his naps because I need naps! LOL...
So instead of fighting it any longer, we decided to run up to Costco. We always buy more than we go there for, but we get some more cat litter (we always need cat litter with four cats), some salt for our water softener (though I live IN the city, we live in a city with a CITY WELL - how dumb is that?), and we got the new TurboTax and a few other things. It was a MAD HOUSE in there today! Eeek!Out of there we went into Howell. The same woman who gave me the desk and whiteboard from freecycle this week was getting rid of a kids toybox/toy sorter type thing. One of those primary color ones with the bins on it. So I picked that up. It will go nicely either in Joey's room or in the baby's room!
Then off to my mother's. Mom made a succulent turkey. I was starving when I got to her house and still had to wait like an hour to eat! Augh!! I hate that. Once we all sat down to eat, it was awesome! We had Turkey, mashed potatoes, bread, mixed veggies in her special sauce and stuffing. AWESOME DINNER. Joey loved the mashed potatoes. Joey started to drink his milk using a regular cup. He did great too!! My little boy is growing up!!
After dinner we watched some TV and then we decided it was cake time. My mother bought Joey a cake since she never did anything for his birthday yet. It was a coconut frosted cake and I wasn't sure Joey would like it. We lit two candles and told him he needed to blow them out. We showed him how to blow. Watching young kids blow out candles is quite humorous. They don't quite get how to blow. They mostly spit out the candles as you see spit flying towards the cake. He did get both candles out and was quite proud of his accomplishment! He LOVED the cake. He surprises me everyday. I never knew he would like coconut.
Joe laid down to take a nap. I watched Joey. Then Joe woke up and Joey went on doing his laps. When he's tired he will start running. At grandma's he runs around the kitchen, laundry room, bathroom, living room, dining room and back into the kitchen in circles. At our house and my mothers he just runs back and forth from room to room. At the end he was pushing a Thomas toy of his and he did that over and over and over until he must have tripped and fell ON Thomas. He immediately started to cry. He finally calmed down and it was time to go. He was so tired. As we left he said, 'Goodbye, See ya later'! It was so cute. He fell asleep shortly after we started to drive away.
Joe DVR-d the two games today. He was so happy to come home today and just relax and watch the games and be able to fast forward through all the commercials. He told me DVR cable was the best thing we have ever gotten, next to his camera phone. Oh and by the way - I suggested BOTH of those and he was hesistant to get them :) I know - I ROCK! :)
